Records and relationships

Think about your work
in the context of its records.

Consider business records such as customers, projects and requests together with their relationships. Keep a record’s representation, your interpretation and a real source operation distinct.

Understand the work behind a card.

A request is rarely understood in isolation. Its customer, related project and conditions give it meaning together. Xohre’s record approach brings those relationships into visual work.

A table, record card, status view and relationship explorer offer different perspectives on the same business record. Its visual position can change without turning its source and identity into a different drawing.

See source information alongside your thinking.

Place notes, questions and alternatives around a record. Keep fields reported by the source distinct from the team’s local interpretation. Make it clear when the same word has different meanings in different systems.

Working with a record does not require copying every field or the entire database. The starting point is permitted context, references and the information needed for the work.

Make a real change an explicit operation.

Before changing a source record, consider the impact: which record, which field, which action? Required information, transition conditions and permissions are assessed under the source system’s rules.

Moving a card or drawing a relationship is not proof of success. A draft proposal and a confirmed result should be distinguishable. A refusal or uncertain result from the source must not be hidden from the person doing the work.

EXAMPLE ACTIVITY

Review a customer request in its decision context.

A product team is discussing whether two similar requests can be addressed by the same solution.

01

Gather the context

Consider the requests alongside their related customer and project information in the same working area.

02

Add the interpretation

Explore possible causes, questions and proposals around the records.

03

Review the option

Describe which record the proposed change would affect, and how, as a separate operation intent.

04

Distinguish the result

Preserve the source-confirmed result and the team’s decision with their own identities.

AT THE END

A review that distinguishes the source record, the team’s thinking and the proposed operation.

WHAT REMAINS?

01

Record representations with clear sources and relationships

02

Questions and interpretations readable alongside the record

03

A change intent with an understandable impact

YOUR QUESTIONS

A closer
look.

Which systems can I connect to?

Connection scope depends on the selected source and adapter. This content design does not promise a ready-made general connector for a particular system. Example records and real source operations remain separate.

Can a Room administrator see all source data?

No. Managing a Room does not expand record or field permissions in a source system.
