How it works

From your first idea
to shared work.

Start with a purpose: prepare on your own, work with the relevant people and make clear what will continue afterwards. Let the Room and visual tools find their place within that work.

Your identity first, then your workspace.

Start with an available Google, Microsoft or email method. Provide basic identity information, then address organisation, team and working arrangements after signing in.

If arriving through an invitation, preserve its safe destination first. Creating an account does not make you a member of every Room or grant rights to source records.

Start with a Room and a question.

Decide what you want to achieve today and with whom. Develop your preparation, find the relevant shared work or create a Room. Not every activity has to begin with a planned meeting.

Start with a note and move into a table, mind map or diagram as needed. Prepared work designs can provide a starting point for recurring activities.

Develop the knowledge in the work together.

See relationships between contributions, distinguish open questions and record the reason for a decision. Address the resulting work through task cards in the same context.

Use the skippable journey and the canvas Guide to learn the tools. When returning later, find the thinking trail alongside the output.

The wider professional-work direction explores continuity across preparation, actual work, compilation, confirmation, outcomes and follow-up. Considering which parts are personal and which outputs are shareable belongs to this starting point.

EXAMPLE ACTIVITY

Start the first team activity.

A team of three wants to run its weekly review in a visual environment.

01

People access their own identities through an available sign-in method.

02

Set up the topic

Write the purpose and main question in a Room and identify participant roles.

03

Contribute

Make notes, questions and proposals visible on the shared Wall.

04

Decide what comes next

Record the decision and reasoning; keep the first tasks and questions for the next discussion in the same context.

AT THE END

Work you can start without learning the entire product on day one, then develop as you go.

WHAT REMAINS?

01

Participation with clear identities and roles

02

A first Room with an explicit purpose

03

Decisions and tasks connected to what comes next

YOUR QUESTIONS

A closer
look.

Does registration ask for every detail of the company?

This design keeps identity registration simple. Workspace and organisation information are handled in later starting steps.

Must an invited person set up a new organisation?

An invited person’s flow should continue to the invitation destination they are authorised to access. Creating a new organisation is not a prerequisite for accepting an invitation.

Make room for
your next shared idea.

Bring ideas, records and decisions into the same context.
