Learning together

Bring learning
into the work itself.

Connect explanation with practice and experimentation with shared review. Understanding a concept and trying it should not require another file or tool.

Try what is explained in the same environment.

Explain a topic through notes, shapes, a mind map or a diagram. Let people try it in the same working environment in which they see the example.

The Xohre Guide follows this approach: it explains canvas tools using the product’s own visual objects and connects learning to work through practice areas.

Make room for different ways of learning.

Divide a session into sections for explanation, individual thinking, group work and review. Watching a section and editing the board together involve different participation expectations.

The Roomvoice deck approach aims to prepare questions and content steps in one flow and connect their results to shared work. A learning output need not remain only a poll chart.

Carry learning into the next piece of work.

A specialist might express a question about their work, a manager a decision need and a facilitator something learned about participation. The same person can take on different responsibilities elsewhere; a persona is not a fixed user class.

Consider what a person learned through their own expression and reflection. Shared outputs, shareable material, personal learning and subsequent work can be connected, without assuming identical visibility or that the system knows them with certainty.

EXAMPLE ACTIVITY

Run a hands-on process-modelling session.

An instructor wants participants to model an example customer-onboarding process together.

01

Show the concepts

Use an example to distinguish a flow step, responsibility, decision and source relationship.

02

Open the practice

Participants draw part of the process in their own areas and mark what is missing.

03

Discuss the differences

Compare the groups’ approaches, making different assumptions and reasons visible.

04

Preserve the learning

Consider useful rules, questions and examples in a form that can be found in later work.

AT THE END

Explanation, practice and reasoned feedback within the same learning context.

WHAT REMAINS?

01

Example work learned through practice

02

A session suited to different participation forms

03

Questions and learning that can inform later work

YOUR QUESTIONS

A closer
look.

Is the learning journey compulsory?

People can progress at their own pace or skip the journey. Whether it starts automatically for guests depends on the Room owner/Designer setting.

Are the Guide and Roomvoice the same thing?

No. The Guide focuses on learning to use the product, while Roomvoice focuses on managing interactions and results within a session.

Make room for
your next shared idea.

Bring ideas, records and decisions into the same context.
